Marijuana  Cultivation

The City's Law and Legislation Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. to hear several proposed amendments to City ordinances relating to marijuana cultivation.  These items will include the criminal history background checks for cultivation permits, the distance requirements from parks and the term of the moratorium on cultivation.

The City Council meeting rescheduled to Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. will be to hear a proposed resolution regarding the Neighborhood Responsibility Agreements for marijuana cultivation.

Both meetings will be held in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, First Floor, 915 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.

The staff report for the items going before Law and Legislation on January 10th will be available on the City of Sacramento website by the close of business on Friday, January 6, 2017.  You can view this at http://sacramento.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=21 and choose the appropriate upcoming meeting date.
