National Night Out is Tuesday, August 2, and the Midtown Neighborhood Association invites you to celebrate with us! We will host a neighborhood block party from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on 22nd St between Capitol Avenue and Matsui Alley. There will be food from neighbors (including Bombay Bar & Grill and Sac Natural Foods Co-op), drinks, a giant slip'n'slide, plus lots of fun and games!
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS THING HAPPEN! If you can help distribute flyers, set up, clean up, or provide food, drinks, or games, please contact Jessica Sorensen to sign up to volunteer. Members of the Midtown Neighborhood Association who attend the block party will also receive a custom wrist band, good for one-night-only special offers at participating neighborhood bars and restaurants (so we can get our after-party on!), including... Happy Hour all night & $2 small plates at KUPROS CRAFTHOUSE Free pretzel with any purchase at DER BIERGARTEN Happy Hour all night & 25% food at GOLDEN BEAR AND MORE!!! Not a member? Sign up at the block party and get a special discounted rate of $10 membership dues. This event is sponsored by Sacramento City Councilmember Steve Hansen. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. By getting to know your neighbors, we can build a stronger Midtown that watches out for one another. We hope to meet you there! [Cats in Space Tour 2016]

Anchored in the heart of Midtown, the market serves as a lively and fun gathering place where Sacramentans can come together to shop and enjoy the community with neighbors and visitors alike. March 21 is the birthday of MNA's interim chair, and all she wants for her birthday is for you to stop by, say hello, meet someone new in the neighborhood and make new friends.
