Beware of CIM Delays Sunday, December 4
The 34th Annual California International Marathon will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016, causing some intersections in or near our neighborhood to be closed. The race begins at 7 a.m. in Folsom near the Folsom Dam and travels the same route as it has for thirty-plus years along Oak Avenue, Fair Oaks Blvd, and J Street, finishing at the Capitol. Intersections will be closed only while the race comes through, but be prepared, if necessary, to leave home early and avoid the race course during any errands that morning.
